MJP are providing a full fire safety and disability access consultancy service for this prestigious development from the initial concept design stage through statutory approvals, construction and handover. The Horgan’s Quay, Cork, which comprise a six-acre mixed used development is centred around the conservation of the site’s Industrial and architectural heritage and includes a large mixed use urban development comprising hotel, office, retail and residential use, including circa 37,000 sqm of gross office space, 237 apartments and a 113 bed hotel. Cemtra to the success of the development is the retention and refurbishment of a number of existing protected structure for office residential and retail use. The refurbishment of the Station House forms the centrepiece of the Residential development. The Carriage Shed houses Retail and Restaurant uses adjoining the Hotel. The Goods Shed refurbishment and restoration of the nine metre high Cork Limestone wall are integral to the development of the Office buildings.
